Add your domain and DNS records

To receive and send mail as you@yourcompany.com, your domain needs a few DNS records that point to adiMAIL by Adimyra. DNS is managed where you bought the domain (your registrar) or at a DNS host such as Cloudflare.

1. Add the domain

  1. Open Admin → Domains and choose Add domain.
  2. Type your domain, for example yourcompany.com.
  3. The domain page lists every record you need, with a Copy button for each name and value.

Keep this page open while you work: each record is checked live and turns green once it's right.

2. Prove you own the domain

Add the TXT record that starts with adimail-verification=. This proves the domain is yours. You can remove it later, but it does no harm to keep it.

3. Publish the mail records

RecordTypeWhat it does
MXMXSends mail for your domain to us. Remove any old MX records from your previous provider when you are ready to switch.
SPFTXTLists the servers allowed to send as your domain. Have only one SPF record: if you already have one, merge ours into it (the domain page shows the merged value).
DKIMTXTSigns every message you send, so receivers can trust it. The name ends in ._domainkey.
DMARCTXTTells receivers what to do with mail that fails SPF and DKIM, and where to send reports. The name is _dmarc.

The domain page may also list optional records (such as autoconfig and MTA-STS) that make phone setup easier and protect mail in transit. Add them too if you can.

Tips

  • Copy names and values exactly. Many DNS panels add your domain to the name for you: if the page shows _dmarc.yourcompany.com, type just _dmarc (and @ for the domain itself).
  • Don't add quotes around TXT values unless your DNS panel asks for them.
  • Changes usually show up within minutes, but can take up to 24 hours.

GoDaddy

  1. Sign in, open My Products and choose DNS next to your domain.
  2. Choose Add New Record, pick the type (MX or TXT), then fill in Name and Value.
  3. For MX, set the Priority shown on the domain page. Save each record.

Hostinger

  1. Open hPanel → Domains, choose your domain, then DNS / Nameservers.
  2. Under Manage DNS records, pick the type, fill in Name, Points to / Content and (for MX) Priority, then Add Record.
  3. Delete the old MX records Hostinger created if you used Hostinger email before.

Cloudflare

  1. Choose your domain, then DNS → Records → Add record.
  2. Pick the type, fill in Name and Content (and Priority for MX), then Save.
  3. Mail records aren't proxied, so there is nothing else to change.

BigRock

  1. Sign in, open Manage Orders → List/Search Orders and choose your domain.
  2. Choose DNS Management → Manage DNS.
  3. Use the MX Records and TXT Records tabs to add each record, then save.

4. Check and finish

Back on the domain page in Admin → Domains, use Check this record on any record that isn't green yet. When every required record is green, your domain is ready: create users in Admin → Users and start sending.
